CHRISTMAS DONATIONS FOR EASTON SALVATION ARMY

5 December 2016

Donations are still being collected in the Club Shop for the Easton Salvation Army.

Bristol Rovers Football Club, Bristol Rovers Community Trust and Bristol Rovers Supporters Club have teamed up to hold a collection throughout November and December to help Bristol Easton Salvation Army as they approach Christmas, which is the busiest time of the year for the charity.

These are very worthy causes which provide food and warmth to the local homeless population as well as distributing meals and hampers to vulnerable people within the Bristol Community.

The Salvation Army have requested non-perishable food and any toys, but preferably not cuddly toys. Items of warm clothing and blankets will also be welcomed.

Donations can be made at the Memorial Stadium (Club Shop) and at the supporters club shop (199 Two Mile Hill Rd, BS15 1AZ).

Club Chaplin Dave Jeal will also be accepting donations at St James’ Lockleaze Church.

Any items, however, large or small will be welcomed and will be going to a worthy cause this Christmas.

The deadline for donations will be Saturday 10th December, with members of the Rovers first-team assisting in delivering the donations to the Salvation Army on Monday 12th December.
