Bristol Rovers Football Club Academy are delighted to continue their support for their chosen charity, Children’s Hospice South West
Last year they raised a total of £9106.47 for this very deserving charity and are hoping to beat that amount this time around.
Last year’s total was boosted by sponsorship for the Bristol Rainbow Run, and it’s all happening again this year, on Saturday 17th June.
The Academy will be encouraging staff, players and their families to sign up for the 5km run across Bristol Downs, with each participant pledging the entry fee and committing to raise sponsorship.
They will complete the run together, with the hope of raising both funds and awareness for the Hospice. It is also a valuable experience for our boys to develop their wider character and recognise the opportunities they have to help others.
