Midfielder Stuart Sinclair previews Sunday's encounter against Barrow A.F.C in the Emirates FA Cup, in this exclusive interview with GasPlayer HD.
On Saturday Rovers dominated large spells of the game at the Proact Stadium but were undone by conceding three goals against Chesterfield. Sinclair believes that game summed up recent fixtures, but insisted that the togetherness of the squad and the fanbase will help focus the team on picking up a result against Barrow A.F.C on Sunday.
"I think that Saturday summed up the story of the past few games, in the sense that we created chances, but the teams we have come up against have been very clinical."
"I think that we have been a little unfortunate, but we can take something from the fact that we have been creating chances and we have been doing ok, but we know we can't keep leaking goals and that has to change and we have to work on that."
"It is frustrating, but you can see from the supporters that they are immensely proud and even after defeats they clap us off and they have shown great support so far this season."
"It happens in football. You live and breathe football and you experience these immense highs, but you experience the lows as well and I think as a side we go through those experiences quite well together."
"All you can do in those situations is go out on the pitch and stick together and then it won't be long until you experience those immense highs again."
Focusing in on Sunday's opponents, the midfielder expects Barrow to offer a physical challenge at the Mem and believes that they will provide a tough encounter, but the midfielder maintained that the magic of the competition is felt by the players.
"I know that Barrow are a big side and I believe that all their players are over six-foot or so. They play quite physically and try to get the ball to the forward men quickly."
"It will be a tough challenge, to be honest. Everyone at the club understands what the Conference is like as a division and how much of a battle it can be at that level. I don't think we can approach the game thinking that it will be any easier than the last few games and I'm expecting a tough test."
"It's the FA Cup and it is a competition that you grow up watching. The competition touches everyone, as every club at every level gets an opportunity to enter and progress. Hundreds of sides enter the FA Cup and everyone has a chance, so in that way the FA Cup is still very special."
