The Gas welcome Barrow AFC to the Memorial Stadium on Sunday afternoon, the last time the sides met in 2006, Bristol Rovers saw off a late fightback from Conference North side Barrow in the first round of the FA Cup.
Richard Walker put Rovers ahead, lofting the ball over Barrow keeper Jaime Speare and Craig Disley extended the lead from close range.
Byron Anthony looked to have made the game safe when he headed in Sammy Igoe's corner, but a Tom Pope header and a scrambled effort from Nick Rogan came close to forcing a deserved replay for Barrow.
