9 December 2016

Take a look at the potential threats in the ranks on Saturday's visitors to the Mem, Bury F.C

James Vaughan - Striker
Born in Birmingham, it was in Merseyside where the striker started his professional career when he joined Everton in 2005.

Vaughan's stay at Goodison Park lasted six years and included loan spells at Derby County, Leicester City and Crystal Palace, before signing for Norwich in May 2011.

A loan spell at Huddersfield Town followed for the majority of the 2012–13 season, before making the move permanent at the end of the season.

After spending two-and-a-half seasons with Huddersfield and scoring seventeen goals in just over fifty appearances, the striker joined Birmingham City on loan in November 2015 and his stay was made permanent at the end of the 2015–16 season.

The forward joined Bury in August 2016 and has contributed nine goals so far this season, including a brace in Bury's last outing against Millwall.

Hallam Hope - Striker
Hope joined Everton from Manchester City in 2005 and signed a full-time scholarship with the club in 2010 and progressed to sign a professional deal in 2013 which would keep him at the club until the summer of 2015.

The forward took in loan spells at Northampton and a successful loan spell at Bury, where he scored five goals in just eight outings.

After returning to Bury on loan in November 2014, Hope made the transfer permanent on New Year's Day 2015 and has since made over just under forty appearances for Bury.

Hope has represented England at various youth levels, from under 16 to under 19 and has five goals to his name so far this campaign.

Danny Mayor - Midfield
A product of the Preston academy, Mayor went on to make over sixty appearances for Preston before joining Sheffield United in 2012.

After only making eight appearances during his time at Sheffield United, the midfielder spent the 2012/14 season on loan at Bury and made thirty-nine appearances that campaign before making the switch permanent.

The versatile midfielder can play as both a traditional midfielder or as an attacking winger and so far this campaign he has been on the scoresheet on three occasions.
