He turned down the opportunity to extend his stay at Plainmoor in favour of joining Rovers and brings a wealth of experience with him, having made 380 appearances in all competitions for Torquay.

The Gloucester born midfielder began his career with Luton Town, for whom he scored eight goals in 47 league appearances. Whilst at Kenilworth Road, he also played five games for Nuneaton Borough during a loan spell with them.

During one season with Oxford, in 2005/06, he appeared in 44 league games, scoring once.

He was a member of the Torquay side who, along with Rovers, were relegated to the Conference at the end of the 2013/14 campaign.

Lee made his Rovers debut on the opening day of the season, in a 0-0 draw against Grimsby Town.

Lee opened his Rovers account with our first goal of the season, in the 1-2 defeat at Altrincham on 16th August.

He also scored our last goal of the campaign when he converted the final penalty in the shootout against Grimsby Town in the Promotion Play Off Final at Wembley.
