Byron Moore joined the club in the summer of 2016 after two seasons with Port Vale.
Byron made his Rovers debut in September that year in 1-1 draw with Walsall at the Mem and scored his first goal in February last year away at Bolton Wanderers.
The 29-year old also has the club record for the fastest league goal scored, when he netted after just 11 seconds at AFC Wimbeldon; the eventual winner in a 1-0 triumph.
The midfielder rose through the youth ranks of Crewe Alexandra, where he made his debut in 2007 and collected a League Two play-off final and a Football League Trophy medal during a seven year stay in which he racked up over 290 appearances.
