Dating back to 1889, the medal for the Gloucestershire Challenge Cup is a formative piece of Rovers history, rewarded for their first ever competion win. A supporter acted quickly to secure the medal for the club, with the view of a fundraiser helping the overall purchase!
The Gas were still called 'Eastville Rovers' when the medal was won and you can find an extract from an article discussing the medals and trophies received by the eventual winners below, before the competition took place.
