Matchday Guide - Rovers v Oldham

17 August 2021

Ahead of Tuesday's league fixture against Oldham at the Mem, we have constructed a matchday guide for fans attending the midweek fixture.

Match Ticket Sales

We advise supporters to purchase tickets at the earliest possible opportunity to minimise queues on a match day. Tickets are from the match day ticket office and can be purchased via the online store up until kick-off.

Print at Home tickets are the easiest way of securing your match ticket. When purchasing via this method you will receive a printable PDF, which when printed becomes your match tickets. Print at home tickets are available until kick-off.

Print at home tickets should be printed prior to arrival at the ground, however, these can also be scanned from a smartphone, but the success of this depends on things like screen quality, cracks, brightness, size on screen etc. Our team will be on hand to assist with any issues with Print at Home tickets that occur at the turnstiles.

To avoid queues, we advise supporters to proceed through the turnstiles in good time ahead of kick-off.

The matchday ticket office will be open from 5pm on Tuesday evening.

Season Ticket Holders

All season ticket holders will once again have received a match ticket to enter the stadium. If you have received your ticket twice, this is due to a re-print being requested. You must use the most recent ticket to access the stadium on Tuesday evening.

If you haven't been issued a match ticket in the post, please contact (stating your account number) who will arrange for print at home tickets to be sent to you. In order to manage demand, our phone lines will not be manned and requests for tickets will only be manned via this email address.

Thatchers Terrace

Some supporters may have noticed at the previous game that unfortunately we are no longer able to permit supporters to stand on the front section of the Terrace. This change is due to an EFL regulation now enforced by our Safety Advisory Group which now means that no standing is permitted at the front gangway of the Thatchers Terrace. We know this is disappointing for many supporters and we have urged our stewards to deal with this situation delicately on the day of the game. This change has had a negative impact on the overall capacity of the stand.

In the interest of supporter safety, anyone who is witness jumping or shoving in the vicinity of the ground will be ejected, due to the safety risk attributed to such behaviour.

Matchday Programme

The Pirate will run as a 32-page edition for league games this season, priced at £2.50. These will be available to purchase at kiosks around the ground and in-store at the club Superstore. We hope that this is a temporary measure and that our volunteers can return to their usual spots in the coming games. In the meantime, we are delighted to welcome all volunteers into the restaurant for the game tomorrow night as a thank you for their service.

Bar and Kiosks

We are advising supporters to use cashless payments as much as possible - with card terminals now in place at the stadium's bar and refreshment outlets.

All bars at the stadium will be open on Tuesday evening.
