Match Preview: Bristol Rovers v Luton Town

29 March 2019

All the pre-match content ahead of Saturday's game against Luton Town at the Mem.

After two games on the road in the past week, Rovers return to the Mem this Saturday, entertaining league leaders, Luton Town.

The Gas are looking for a response after defeat in mid-week at the Keepmoat Stadium against Doncaster Rovers, which was a first defeat in four outings for Graham Coughlan's side

The league table is still looking as tight as ever, with 10 points separating 21st and 11th spot in the standings, with a number of sides in the bottom half facing each other on Saturday.

Saturday's opponents are on a 26 game unbeaten run in that stretches back to October in the league - which has aided their climb to the top of the table, with a healthy nine-point gap on Portsmouth in third place.

Below is all the pre-match content in one place - to get you set for kick-off Saturday!

Manager's View: The Rovers boss sat down with the press on Friday morning and indicated that he's expecting a reaction from his players come 3pm on Saturday.

Player's View: Ed Upson talked with the press about facing the leaders in the division at the Mem on Saturday afternoon and how the players can rise to the challenge.

Opposition: No one is flying higher in League One than the Hatters at the moment, who sit at the top of the tree with just seven games left to play. A solid five points separate them and second place Barnsley and at least automatic promotion looks likely for Mick Harford's side, with a nine-point cushion between them and Portsmouth in third. Whilst Town have not lost in the league for a staggering 26 games, the four games they have lost so far this campaign, have all been away from Kenilworth Road. Their six away draws also means that they have not won just over 50% of their league games on the road.

Tickets: Online tickets will be available up until midnight on Friday, 39th March. Tickets pre-purchased online are eligible for our 'Print at Home' option, which is a hassle-free way of securing your ticket that eliminates the need to queue on a match day to collect. We advise supporters who are collecting pre-booked tickets to do so at the earliest opportunity. Our match day ticket office opens at 11am and is located behind the North Terrace. If you are purchasing a ticket on the day of the game, please note that we no longer accept cash at the turnstiles, as tickets must be purchased at the match day ticket office (or from the Club Superstore between 9am-11am on a matchday).
