Bristol Rovers Community Trust are working in partnership with The Royal Foundation to launch a new apprentice scheme in Bristol. 'Coach Core Bristol' is an innovative and exciting sports coaching apprenticeship targeting young people who wish to gain further education and employment in sport. Successful applicants will work towards an Activity Leadership Level 2 incorporating Active Leisure for Exercise Professionals.
Coach Core Bristol will employ 20 young people who have the potential of becoming the future sports coach. We will be inviting applications for 40 places at our 2-day recruitment event on the 16th & 17th October.
Those who demonstrate commitment and a will to want to better themselves in this sports coaching programme will then be offered year-long employment working and training for 30 hours a week on Coach Core beginning November 2017.
