Mark Brimson will be walking from Home Park, Plymouth to The next week, in aid of a cause close to his heart, as he tells us; ‘My wife Gloria died in 2007, a week after Rovers won promotion at Wembley.
‘As you can probably imagine it’s been a very difficult 10 years and to mark the 10th anniversary of her death I have set up The Gloria Brimson Foundation in her memory, the aim of it is to raise £10k for Headway House in Frenchay.’
Mark and six colleagues begin their 138-mile walk on Monday and aim to arrive back at The Mem next Friday, and they hope that many more Rovers supporters will join them on the last leg of their journey.
