Premier League Kicks Projects Across Bristol Face Off

13 June 2017

Bristol Rovers Community Trust has been running a project called Premier League Kicks during this academic school year.

As the name suggests it is funded by the Premier League and is a social inclusion project targeting 11-18-year-olds.

The Trust run weekly free football sessions where the young people who attend can play football in a relaxed and friendly environment for free. Part of this project is to try and give opportunities to the participants to take part in an organised competition.

Therefore the Trust linked up with Bristol City Community Trust to arrange a game between our two projects.

It was a great way for both clubs to work together for the good of the local community. Both Trusts put together an 11-a-side team from their free football sessions to play against each other.

The game was conducted in a fantastic manner by all involved and brought together people from a variety of different backgrounds.
