Bristol Rovers Community Trust is looking for young men and women to join our hugely successful Futsal & Education Scholarship starting in September 2017.
The Open Evening will take place at the Memorial Stadium [Filton Avenue, Horfield, Bristol, BS7 0BF] on Wednesday 8th February, between 7-8pm.
Do you have a:
- Commitment to continuing your education.
- Desire to study at University or Higher Education.
- Interest in playing and coaching football and futsal.
- Develop a career in the sports and leisure industry.
- Represent Bristol Rovers in a national Futsal league.
- Learn within a professional sports environment.
- Become part of the football club.
You will study a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport (which is equivalent up to 3 A-Levels) and there will also be daily futsal/football training. The course offers you the opportunity of entrance into university or higher education, there are career paths into the sports industry and you can continue to play for your local weekend or evening football club.
We are also delighted that our students on our programme gained a 100% pass rate last year with over 74% achieving above target grades.
