Although Remembrance Day has passed, the clubs official Remembrance fixture will be the home game against MK Dons at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday 19th November where the whole squad will wear poppies on their shirts for the game.
The Remembrance fixtures that will take place on the 19th have been scheduled as part of #EFLRemembers to commemorate the centenary of the end of the Battle of the Somme which ended 100 years ago on 18th Nov 1916.
In addition, to raise funds for The Royal British Legion, the club will be auctioning off a signed match worn Bristol Rovers poppy shirt and poppy football, further details of which will be released next week.
Also on the 19th, we will be joined by The Royal Logistic Corps Soldiers who will be forming a Guard of Honour along with the club laying a commemorative wreath and the traditional minutes silence to remember servicemen and woman killed in battle.
