We take a look at what's happened at the Mem over the past week!

Earlier this week we caught up with young midfielder, Ryan Broom, to see how he is enjoying his experience on loan at Bath City.

The midfielder talks about his ambitions of breaking into the Rovers first-team and discusses how he is enjoying playing in competitive fixtures for our neighbors, Bath City.

The EFL announced this week that special match balls featuring the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Logo will be used across League One and League Two fixtures this weekend, as a mark of respect for the fallen.

The balls are part of a campaign by EFL title sponsor Sky Bet to raise funds for this year’s Poppy Appeal, and a signed shirt from each of the 48 League One and Two teams will be auctioned later this month.

Rovers official Remembrance fixture will be the home game against MK Dons at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday 19th November where the whole squad will wear poppies on their shirts for the game.

If you are in Year 11 or 12, now is the time to start thinking about what you’re going to do next year.

Will you go to study at college? Will you stay on at school? Will you get a job? Or will you come to study at Bristol Rovers?

Bristol Rovers Community Trust is looking for young men and women to join our hugely successful Futsal & Education Scholarship starting in September 2017.

The Open Evening will take place at the Memorial Stadium [Filton Avenue, Horfield, Bristol, BS7 0BF] on the rearranged date of Wednesday 16th November 7-8pm.

Early Friday morning we announced that Matty Taylor had been nominated for October SkyBet League One Goal of the Month.

The forward has been nominated for his second goal against MK Dons, capping off a smart team move that saw a delightful touch by Charlie Colkett on the edge of the area pick out Jake Clarke-Salter, who kept his composure to find Matty, who was able to finish from close-range.

The winners of the Sky Bet EFL Goals of the Month are chosen by a fan poll on and you can vote for Matty by clicking here

On Friday the annual Memorial Service was held at the Memorial Gates at the Mem.

The Rovers squad was joined by their counterparts from Bristol Rugby with Bristol Rovers Chaplin, David Jeal, taking the service of remembrance, with everyone falling silent at 11am to remember servicemen and woman killed in battle.
