We take a look at what's happened at the Mem over the past week!

It's been a week of mixed emotions at the Memorial Stadium this week and we take a look back at some of the highlights.

Three Points Against Fleetwood Town

Rovers finally played their rearranged fixture with Fleetwood Town and came from behind and scored two second-half goals to defeat Fleetwood Town in front of a packed Memorial Stadium.

Over 10,000 Gasheads watched on as Matty Taylor canceled out Ashley Hunter's first half strike before Cristian Montano's first goal of the season wrapped up all three points to send Rovers up to fifth in the SkyBet League One table.

Festive Fixtures All Ticket

Following Tuesday night's bumper crowd of over 10,000 coupled with the usual increase in attendance around Christmas the club made the decision to make the two fixtures ALL TICKET.

Darrell Clarke's men entertain Coventry City at the Memorial Stadium on Boxing Day before AFC Wimbledon come to town on New Years Eve.

Jake Clarke-Salter Called Up By England Under-20's

On Thursday, Jake Clarke-Salter was selected to travel to South Korea for England's fixtures against Nigeria, Korea, Iran in the Continental Cup, as the England Under-20s squad continue their preparation for the 2017 World Cup.

The schedule starts on Wednesday 9th November when England face Nigeria at the Suwon World Cup Stadium, before they’re in action again 24 hours later when playing against the host nation.

The final match of the tournament takes place on Saturday 12th November against Iran.

Jake has started the previous two SkyBet League One fixtures for Rovers and scored his first goal for the club in September's victory over Oldham Athletic.

Broom & Greenslade Extend Their Loans

Positive news towards the end of the week as Ryan Broom has extended his loan spell at Bath City for a further month.

The youngster joined the National League South outfit at the start of the October and scored on his debut for Bath City in their 1-1 draw with Eastbourne Borough.

Further loan news from Friday as Danny Greenslade has extended his loan spell at Gloucester City following a string of impressive performances.

Everyone at Bristol Rovers would like to wish both lads the best for the rest of the month!

Rovers Under-18's To Face AFC Wimbledon In FA Youth Cup

The Rovers boys were the penultimate tie drawn this afternoon at Wembley Stadium and were in the hat for the draw thanks to a win away against Oxford United.

Goals from Tyrone Tucker-Dixon and Tom Mehew wrapped up a 2-0 win for Rovers in their First Round fixture which was played at Abingdon United’s ground.

No date for the tie has been set yet.

Ray Mabbutt Passes

Finally, it wasn't all positive news at the Memorial Stadium this week as we were saddened today to learn of the death of former Rovers player Ray Mabbutt, who passed away this week after suffering a heart attack on Sunday.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
