ROVERS OPEN NEW 3G FACILITIES AT HORFIELD LEISURE CENTRE

Today Bristol Rovers Community Trust and Bristol Rovers FC were delighted to be able to support the opening of brand new 3G football facilities at Horfield Leisure Centre.


The facilities were officially opened by Stuart Sinclair, Rory Gaffney and Steve Yates who cut the ribbon this afternoon.


The day began with a training session with May Park Primary School led by Bristol Rovers Community Trust. After the opening, education scholars from both Bristol Rovers and Bristol City played an exhibition match on the new surface.


Adam Tutton, Community Trust Chief Executive said “We are delighted to be able to support the opening of these fantastic new 3G pitches which will be a huge benefit to our local community. 


“We have also entered into a partnership with Horfield Leisure Centre and Everyone Active that will see us basing our Futsal programme here. This will be a huge boost for all our players being able to play on such a great surface."
