Manager Darrell Clarke revealed yesterday that Lee Mansell, Will Puddy, Lee Brown, Jermaine Easter and Mark McChrystal will miss out today.
Speaking at the club’s training ground yesterday, he said; “Lee Mansell has a slight calf strain and won’t be involved. It’s nothing serious and he should be back in action quite soon.
“Goalkeeper Will Puddy will resume full time training on Monday, having recovered from a groin strain, while Lee Brown has had an injection in his Achilles.
“Jermaine Easter has a tight hamstring and he won’t be risked. The most serious of the five is Mark McChrystal, though his knee is responding well to treatment and I am optimistic that he won’t be out of action for too long.
“It may seem like a long list of injuries, but as I’ve already said this summer, I won’t be taking riskes with any player in pre-season. It’s best that they rest and recover so that they are ready for the start of the league season on 8th August.”
Just a reminder that admission prices today are £10 for Adults and £5 for Concessions.
