Following Easter Monday's 0-3 win over Kidderminster Harriers that is just three games to go of the 2014/15 Vanarama Conference Lee Mansell tells us that the changing room is 'buzzing' ahead of this weekend's tie with Southport.
"The boys are in a fantastic mood after a great performance against Kidderminster and we keep the pressure on Barnet.
"We thought they were going to get all three points against Dartford and they did so we went into the game knowing that we were four points behind them and we showed the character that we've got as a squad to get the three points.
"The first half against Kidderminster wasn't great but I think we scored three fantastic goals in the second half and we deserved the win.
Ellis Harrison was on the scoresheet twice at Aggborough Stadium on Monday and Mansell told us that he thinks Ellis has been brilliant all year.
"From what I gathered about Ellis [Harrison] in previous years had potentially hasn't been everyone's favorite player but this season he has proved what a fantastic lad and fantastic talent he is.
"He has got us 13 goals this season with most of them from the bench but he came in Monday and proved that he can score goals when he starts matches.
"It is part of my job as one of the more experienced lads to keep his feet on the ground but he is a great kid and he will be important to us over these last three games I'm sure.
Rovers took over 2,600 Gasheads to Kidderminster on Monday and Lee said that he is so impressed with their support this season.
"Words cannot describe our supporters, taking over 2,600 people on an Easter Monday is truly phenomenal for any football club. If you look at some Premier League teams, they wouldn't take a following liek that to an away game.
"They [the supporters] were absolutely magnificent from start to finish on Monday and I think that if we continue that into the Southport game and then onto Dover it makes a huge difference to us on the pitch.
"The support we have received this year has just been brilliant and as a group of players we just cannot thank them enough.
