The move to Bristol Rovers is Lyle’s first loan move in professional football and the Fulham youngster is looking forward to his time in the blue and white quarters.
“Playing for my parent club Fulham I think the gaffer [Darrell Clarke] has come to watch me a few times and liked what he saw and brought me here so I can help improve the team.
“I think the move will be good for me and my career going forward and hopefully I can help Bristol Rovers move up the division whilst I’m here.
“I’m excited to get this opportunity and I am really excited to get started with this new challenge.
The move from Under-21’s football to professional football is a large step for Della-Verde but one that he is ready for.
“It’s completely different to Under-21’s football so I’m looking forward to getting a few professional games.
“It is a different challenge for me and one that I want to get on with, be it the league or the FA Cup like this weekend.
“It is a big game, if we win then we go through simple as that. They are the league above so it will definitely be a good game.
“It is great to be involved in a competition like the FA Cup, the potential of getting a big team and knocking them out is always something to look forward to.
Lyle is an attack minded player who can play anywhere across the midfield and he is looking to be a major part of Rovers being on the scoresheet.
“I’m a player that loves to win at the end of the day, I’ve got a winning mentality and I’m not afraid to work hard to get results.
“I want to bring some good attacking play to the team, I like to create chances for my team mates to score and hopefully score a few goals myself.
