'Kids for a Quid' Returns!

Ahead of tickets going on sale at 10am, the club are pleased to share the ticketing prices and structure for the new season.

1 July 2022

Over the summer, we have reviewed our prices, offerings and structures and compared the club with those up and down the leagues.

As such, we will be operating a structured Category process for the matches going forward, with prices going up and down depending on the category of the game.

Head of Sales David Bright said: "By categorising our games moving forward, it will allow us to maximise attendances across our fixtures. We know that fans will want to attend Category A games; last season we saw this towards the end of the season as we hosted Exeter City and Forest Green, with both selling out way in advance.

"Our Category B games are the club's bread and butter and we’ve been conscious to maintain the price of tickets around these fixtures. What we’ll have with Category C is the chance to welcome back some more family-focused games, bringing back the much-loved ‘kids for a quid’ offering.

"We are also conscious that with the cost of living rising, we want to offer all that want to attend games here at the Mem the chance to do so."

The categories will be as follows;

Category A

Oxford United

Plymouth Argyle

Exeter City

Charlton Athletic

Derby County

Portsmouth

Bolton Wanderers

Category B

Peterborough United

Port Vale

As always, the best way to secure a ticket for every game and get the best value is to secure a Season Ticket for the coming season.

Bright added: "The uptake in Season Ticket holders has blown us away ahead of the new season. Last year, we had 3,900 and right now we are just under the 5,000 figure. Our highest as a club was in the 2015/16 season when we hit 5,056 and we are very close to that number - it would be great to make 2022/23 the season we set that record.

"We understand that some fans became frustrated at the end of the season last year when they couldn’t get a ticket, having attended many of the games prior to that. We urge as many as possible to secure a Season Ticket and take advantage of the value it offers."
