Rules on drinks for Oxford game

11 August 2022

With Rovers' home match against Oxford United on Saturday falling in the middle of a heatwave, we would like to issue the following information.

Supporters are advised to carry water and will be allowed into the ground for this game with their own plastic bottles, with the tops removed. No glass or metal bottles can be allowed for safety reasons.

Drinks will also be available for purchase from the usual outlets within the ground.

Alcohol must not be brought to the stadium site. Cans and glass bottles are not permitted at The Mem. Any bottles or cans containing alcoholic drinks must be disposed of at the gates entering the site.

We would also like to remind supporters that they must not stand in or enter any areas marked with yellow lines. The game against Oxford is subject to a reduced capacity and we would like to be able to reverse this decision for the rest of the season. As well as any of the areas marked in yellow, supporters must also stay off the walkways at the back of the Poplar stand.
