Bristol Rovers F.C are delighted to announce the signing of striker Harvey Saunders.
The 23-year-old forward arrives at the Mem on a two-year deal.
A pacey and energetic forward, Saunders will once again work under the Manager Joey Barton, who gave the striker his EFL debut after signing him for Fleetwood Town.
Saunders career began at Darlington, where his eye for goals saw the forward score 11 times in just over sixty games, before making the step up to the EFL in January 2019, joining Fleetwood Town.
The striker was the top scorer last season in the EFL Trophy with five goals in the competition, including a brace against Carlisle United and a hat-trick against Aston Villa's U21's.
Saunders was also on target in Sky Bet League One, scoring a brace in a victory over Hull City and scoring on the road against Rochdale, taking his tally to eight goals in total last season for the Cod Army.
The striker finished the campaign with a brief stint on loan at Hartlepool, who were promoted back to the EFL via the play-offs.
Speaking about the signing of Saunders, Manager Joey Barton said, “We are delighted to have Harvey on board.”
"I've seen first-hand the determination and desire he has to succeed, having worked with him at Fleetwood.
"He's quick, athletic, knows where the goal is and importantly for us is a really good character and I'm sure he will be a great addition to our squad.”
