The Club is delighted to confirm the signing of striker, Brandon Hanlan.
The 23-year-old forward joins the Gas on a two-year deal.
Hanlan is well equipped to life in Sky Bet League One, with forward scoring 16 goals across 84 appearances for the Gillingham.
The forward was linked with several EFL clubs this summer, after rejecting a new deal to remain at Priestfield.
The striker, who was born in London, started his career at Charlton Athletic, making his debut in August 2016.
Loan moves to the likes of Bromley and Colchester saw the forward capture an eye for goal and helped aid the striker's development with exposure to first-team football.
Following his move to the Gills in 2018, the striker recorded 9 goals in his first season and last term Hanlan scored seven times across the shortened campaign and was an integral part of Gillingham's late climb towards the play-off spots.
Hanlan joins Rovers ahead of Saturday's opening Sky Bet League One fixture, away at Sunderland - which is available to watch on iFollow. Check out our guide on how to catch the game below.
On completing the signing of the striker, Manager Ben Garner said, "We are delighted to introduce Brandon as our new number 9. He is a powerful and skilful forward who can both create and score goals. Brandon also has the work ethic and energy we want at the front end of the team.
Brandon has good experience of League One and we feel we can really help him develop further. It is an exciting signing and hopefully he can have a real impact with us."
