18 September 2020

Bristol Rovers F.C can today confirm that goalkeeping coach, Adrian Tucker, has left the Club in order to pursue a new challenge working abroad.

Tucker joined the Rovers first-team staff in the summer of July 2019 and has worked alongside the cohort of goalkeepers at the Club during his tenure and has also worked on strengthing the coaching options for goalkeepers within the Club's Academy.

The 43-year-old, who previously worked at Swansea City and Sunderland, has overseen a transition period with a new coach to the role, that will be announced by the Club later today (Friday, 18th).

Manager Ben Garner said, "I would like to thank Adrian for all his efforts during his time working with us.

"Adrian has allowed us to grow and develop the goalkeepers at the Club and has worked on improving the pathway for young goalkeepers coming through our Academy.

"Having known Adrian a long time it was great to work with him. He has been offered an exciting role for him professionally and we wish him the best of luck for the future. Adrian will always be welcome back at Rovers.”
