Club Survey Feedback: Ticketing

We are pleased to relay to supporters feedback to a degree of the topics raised in regards to the ticketing procedures at the club from the recent fan's survey.

Over two-thousand supporters completed the survey, which helped to form a useful collection of data of supporters perception of a variety of departments within the football club and highlight areas where we can improve the match day experience or other interaction points with our fanbase.

Below are some of the topics that supporters raised about the ticketing service, which Tickets.com have helped to answer/address, with action already underway to remedy a number of points raised.

Fees charged on print at home tickets - This fee is inclusive to all ticket purchases and in the future, to make it more clear to supporters, we are looking at ways at making the price that appears all-inclusive on the transaction all-inclusive (ticket price + any fees). This point will form a basis of discussions around ticket prices for the 2020/21 season. 

Purchasing links can sometimes be hard to locate - The club is looking at ways at increasing the visibility of the links across its website and social media channels. 

Promote the fact that print at home tickets can be used on a smartphone - This will be clearly stated when advertising tickets for home games and with relevant messaging circulated on the club's social media channels. 

Please note that access to the Memorial Stadium is granted through the scan of a barcode, this can be a normal ticket or a print at home ticket. We are to share that the best way to access the stadium is for digital tickets on mobile devices to be scanned (no more paper!).

All you need to do is login to your online account and go to MY BRISTOL ROVERS TICKETS where you will be able to see details of your next match. This will give you an option to view and present your tickets for scanning. You can also view all future matches by selecting View Inventory.

Present the barcode for scanning at the ground, if you have multiple tickets then scan, enter and move onto the next ticket and repeat the process.

The need to be linked accounts to ease the purchase of away tickets online - Tickets.com are currently in the process of identifying all season ticket holders to ensure that they have an online account, which they can use to access their renewals and priority away tickets. This process is due to be completed next month. 

App to purchase and allocate tickets - is there the possibility for something like this? - Unfortunately, this isn't available at the present time as the club already has an app and it isn’t possible to integrate the two, however Tickets.com’s MyProVenue web application is entirely devoted to optimising the desktop and mobile ticketing experience. Fans with accounts can easily and securely access to self-service activities, such as account management, updating payment preferences in a digital wallet, or presenting tickets for entry into the venue all within a responsive framework that works great on any device.

Where is pitch side and where is top of the stand online? (In reference to the diagrams used to locate and purchase tickets online) - There is a reference to the direction of the pitch on the online booking system, however this has been changed to pitch side and made bigger to make it more clear to users. Please see example below.

Can’t buy tickets in different parts of the ground in one transaction - this should be possible? Is it not? If not, can we make this update? - It is possible to add additional tickets to the transaction in a different area of the stadium using the ‘Add Tickets’ option once the user has locked their first seats. This can be found in the cart page by clicking on the cog to the right of the event as depicted below.

Print at home not available on iPhone? Print at home tickets are available through any device. We would advocate the use of digital tickets via fans online accounts as below.

Tickets.com are working on a feature that will allow match tickets to be added to your Apple and Google Wallets.

It isn't always easy to find the relevant tickets

For Season Ticket Holder Priority Away tickets these can be accessed through MyTickets, which can be accessed by Clicking Here.  Once you have logged in the available matches will be under the ‘Buy Tickets’ option.

When Away Match tickets go on General Sale they can be found in the general listing page which can be found by Clicking Here.  You can use the venue/competition filter as shown below at the top of the screen to select Away Matches to narrow down your search.

Email confirmation of purchase online - All online bookings are followed up with a confirmation email. This will go to the email address associated with the transaction / user login.

Print at home modified for less ink - We are looking at ways of changing and adapting the current print at home ticket design to ease the amount of ink used. Again, we would like to remind supporters that print at home tickets can be scanned on a smartphone or digitally via MY BRISTOL ROVERS TICKETS.

Still ST accounts not linked to online accounts - is there a way we can have some form of link or process that any supporters who haven’t done this yet can follow without going through you? - Any supporter still experiencing this issue simply need to email SeasonTicketEnquiries@Bristolrovers.co.uk with their name, current email and season ticket details and Tickets.com will ensure that the account is linked.
