The Club is delighted to announce that defender Rollin Menayese has today signed a contract extension, penning a new one-year deal...
The 22-year-old has featured in over 20 games for Rovers this season and becomes the latest player to agree terms to extend his stay with the Gas.
During the 2018/19 season, Rollin spent time on loan at Aldershot and the season prior, the defender spent a stint at the County Ground on loan, making 14 appearances for Swindon Town.
Menayese, who completed his youth career at Cardiff, arrived at the Mem from Weston-Super-Mare in June 2017 and made his Rovers debut the same year, during an EFL Trophy victory away at Wycombe Wanderers.
Speaking about Menayese putting pen to paper on a new deal, Manager Ben Garner said, “We are pleased that Rollin has signed a new deal.
"Rollin's development has been helped over the past 12 months by a significant amount of first-team appearances and that has been rewarded with this new contract.
"Rollin is a young defender with the hunger and potential to make further progress in his career.”
The defender added, "I’m delighted to sign a new deal with Bristol Rovers.
"I have enjoyed the development the club has given me over the past few seasons and I’m looking forward to progressing further in the future."
