The Club is pleased to announce that goalkeeper Alexis Andre Jr has penned a new deal.
The 23-year-old French goalkeeper signs a new one-year deal with the Gas.
A product of the Nike Academy, Alexis joined Rovers in the summer of 2017, as part of the Development Squad.
Many fans will recall Alexis' EFL debut in September 2017, where a red card to Sam Slocombe led to the youngster making an appearance as a second-half substitute from the bench and impressed with a string of saves.
Several loan spells have helped the goalkeeper gain first-team experience and in October 2018 he was called up to the Morocco U23 squad for friendly matches against Algeria and Senegal.
On Alexis' new deal, Manager Ben Garner said, "I'm very happy that Alexis has signed a new deal as we feel that he's a goalkeeper with the potential to improve further in the future.
"Alexis has great enthusiasm and the drive to learn and we want that here at Rovers. Alongside Anssi & Jordi he gives us good depth and competition in the goalkeeper position under the guidance of Adrian Tucker.”
Goalkeeping Coach, Adrian Tucker added, "‘Alexis had developed and matured both as a goalkeeper and a person in the past 12 months and has been rewarded for his efforts with the extension to his contract.
"In goalkeeping terms, he is a good young talent and I would hope to see continued progress from him when we resume, to continue to strengthen the goalkeeping department."
On signing his new deal, Alexis said, "I’m very happy to sign a new deal with Bristol Rovers. I have enjoyed every minute of my time at the club so far and I will continue to work hard to repay the confidence the club has shown in me so far."
