Bristol Rovers Community Trust are delighted to announce the details or this year’s summer football activities for children during the school holidays.
For the first time, we’re offering FREE ‘Summer Football Sessions’ throughout August at Lockleaze Sports Centre, strictly for the families of key workers or those who receive free school meals. Every participant will also receive a free packed lunch, provided by one of our partners, which they will be able to take home.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there are restrictions and changes to our usual school holiday ‘Fun Days’ format, however, the health and safety of all of our participants is our paramount concern. For this summer we will have one-hour slots available for the various age groups on each day.

Bristol Rovers Community Trust CEO, Adam Tutton, said; “I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to offer the families and children in our community the opportunity to play football with us this summer, for free. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected so many people in our community, so to be able to offer these sessions to those families who have been working tirelessly throughout lockdown and to those who rely on free meals at school, is our way of wanting to help during the school holidays. We’re also fully committed to making sure that the children who attend our sessions, receive a free packed lunch for them to take home. None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for the incredibly generous donations that we’ve received from supporters and people from within our community.”
We are now taking bookings online via the Community Trust website. There is limited availability so please book early to avoid disappointment. Click HERE
