The Club is delighted to announce that left-sided defender David Tutonda has joined the Gas on a free transfer.
The Kinshasa-born 24-year-old joins following a promising few campaigns with Barnet FC, and signs a two year deal at the Mem.
Tutonda developed through the Cardiff City youth system, joining as a youth player in 2012. In his time with the Welsh side, the defender featured on loan for both Newport County and York City in League Two.
Following his release from Cardiff, Tutonda journeyed to London to link up with a Barnet side who at the time, were plying their trade in the 4th tier of English football.
The full-back went on to make over 100 appearances in all competitions for the Bees before leaving at the end of the 2019-20 season, following the end of his deal.
Tutonda now links up with the Gas just a week away from their first game of the 2020-21 campaign, following a successful spell as a trialist with the club.
On the signing, manager Ben Garner said, “We are pleased to welcome David to the Club. He provides further quality to our squad. David is very humble and his character will fit in very well here.
