Club and Community Trust Join Forces to Help Vulnerable Fans During COVID-19 Outbreak

Bristol Rovers Football Club and Bristol Rovers Community Trust are joining forces to provide the club's most vulnerable fans with emergency packs of essential food and provisions during the current Coronavirus pandemic.

The club are aiming to contact all their season ticket holders aged 70 and above who have been asked by the government to self-isolate for at least the next three months. 
 
Any of these supporters who have no access to family, friends or support, are being asked to contact the club, who will then aim to provide a weekly pack of essential items that will be delivered directly to their doors by staff from both the club and the Community Trust, as well as local volunteers.
 
Adam Tutton, CEO of Bristol Rovers Community Trust said, "We recognise that some of our elderly season ticket holders may be incredibly isolated over the coming weeks. 
 
'Not everyone has family and friends they can call upon during this difficult time and this is where we as a Football Club can step in as a support network for our vulnerable fans. We cannot guarantee parcels for everyone but will do all we can to support those most in need."
 
Commercial Director, Tom Gorringe added, "We are currently in conversation with some of our suppliers and FareShare South West, who are all hoping to be able to provide us with much-needed provisions for our most vulnerable season ticket holders. We are keen to try and support those fans that have given so much to the football club over the years."
 
Should any current Bristol Rovers season ticket holders aged 70 and above require support please contact support@bristolrovers.co.uk with your name, contact number and season ticket number. A member of the club will then contact you to discuss your requirements.
