Bristol Rovers Football Club wanted to reach out to shareholders to address the issues with the AGM in the current environment.
The club can confirm that the upcoming AGM is required to take place within 15 months of the previous one, which was on 11 June 2019. Despite the recent issue of accounts, given the current Covid-19 outbreak and the governments ‘stay at home measures', we are not currently in a position to confirm a date for this.
The club is continuing to keep abreast with the government guidance on AGMs to understand whether the AGM is able to be conducted in a ‘virtual’ manner and we will keep the shareholders updated with those developments.
Obviously the health and safety of all shareholders and the wider fanbase remains a priority so we will continue to take advice as things develop.
