Match Preview: Rochdale

1 November 2019

All the information you need ahead of this weekend's trip to the Spotland Stadium.

Rovers face Rochdale wanting to build on their late comeback against Pompey last week, where they scored two goals in the final 15 minutes to level the game.

The Gas visit a side just three places behind them in the table, who went down 3-0 against Oxford United in their most recent tie, with central forward Aaron Wilbraham sent off, and subsequently suspended for this game.

Below is all the pre-match content ahead of kick-off...

Manager Preview: The Gaffer spoke to the press on Thursday morning on how he appreciated the support from the fans last Saturday, and how he hopes to get the best out of his team this weekend.

Players Preview: After delivering a crucial corner for the Gas' equalizer on Saturday, Liam Sercombe sat down with the press to discuss his return to the side.

Opposition: Rochdale's form this season has been something of a mixed bag so far, with 3-0 batterings from Wycombe and Oxford United accompanying a comprehensive 6-0 defeat to Peterborough making things seem initially negative. However, recent victories over Bolton, Accrington and MK Dons have seen them begin to find some semblance of form. They currently sit 14th in the table, three points behind the Gas.

Betting on the Gas: Feeling confident ahead of Saturday's game? Sky Bet have priced Rovers to win with both teams to score at 11/2. For that price and many more markets, visit Sky Bet here. Please gamble responsibly.
