The club is delighted to announce the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Jordi van Stappershoef.
The deal will officially go through on July 1st and will be subject to EFL approval and the club receiving international clearance.
The 23-year-old, who was born in Amsterdam, played in the second tier in Holland last season, plying his trade for FC Volendam in the Eerste Divisie.
Jordi arrived at the Mem for his medical earlier today and managed to get familiar with his new surroundings ahead of returning for pre-season training.
The towering goalkeeper, who is 6ft 6', is the third new face to sign for the club this week, following the arrivals of Tom Davies and Josh Hare.
Speaking about the addition of the goalkeeper to his playing squad, Manager Graham Coughlan said, “Jordi is player that we identified last season and we are glad that we’ve managed to get the deal over the line ahead of the start of pre-season."
"Our Head of Recruitment, Tommy Widdrington, has travelled to watch Jordi in action on a number of occasions and he's a player that we have done our homework on.
"It's another foundation in place for the new season and I would like to welcome Jordi to Bristol Rovers F.C."
