Open Day 2019 - What's going on?

23 July 2019

This year's Open Day will take place on Sunday, 28th July and will feature a whole host of fun activities around the Memorial Stadium.

Always a popular event amongst the fanbase, this year's Open Day will begin at 11am and finish at 3pm.

In keeping with previous years, there will an open training session to offer the opportunity to see Graham Coughlan put his squad through their paces ahead of the start of the new campaign, which will commence at 11.45 am.

Once the players have finished training, they will head to one of three bars, the Thatchers Bar, the Butcombe Bar or the Poplar Bar. There, they'll be available to sign autographs, chat to, and have photos with anyone who attends the Open Day. Players will be in these three set locations between 12.45pm and 1.45pm.

However, once this allotted time is finished, they will be in and around the ground until roughly 2.30pm.

There will be much more to do on the day, with a number of funfair games and rides being set up around the ground, as well as stalls selling candy floss, slushies and sweets. It should be noted, these attractions/stalls will be cash only.

Additionally, there will be live music throughout the day.

To make sure you're well-fed and watered on what will (hopefully) be a lovely summers day, there will be an outdoor bar, stalls selling food and drink and even an ice cream van.

Furthermore, there will be a number of community-led stalls and games, with a raffle also taking place.
