The Gas begin their EFL Trophy journey with an away trip to Plymouth Argyle on the 3rd of September.
The fixtures for this year's EFL Trophy have been announced, with Rovers facing Plymouth Argyle, Chelsea and Swindon Town in the group stage of the competition.
