The Club is pleased to announce the signing of Reading defender, Gabriel Osho, who joins Rovers on a loan deal for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
The defender is held in high regard at the Championship outfit and has progressed through the youth ranks since joining in 2008.
The youngster has previously enjoyed loan spells at Maidenhead and most recently at Aldershot Town, where the defender impressed over a ten-game spell and was awarded the ‘man of the match’ accolade in a number fixtures.
Since returning to Reading in December, Osho made his competitive first-team debut for the Royals against Middlesbrough and also gained minutes from the bench in Reading’s Boxing Day fixture against Millwall.
Rovers fans may recall Osho featuring for Reading’s U23’s in a Checkatrade Trophy fixture at the Mem back in 2016.
Speaking about the addition of defender to his squad, Manager Graham Coughlan commented, “We look forward to seeing what Gabriel can offer us between now and the end of the season.
“It gives us another player that we can look at closely, while we set in place plans for the long-term.
“I have made it quite clear that the plan is for Rollin (Menayese) to go out and get some game time on loan and Gabriel will offer us the scope for competition.”
