Their confidence grew throughout the tournament and they thoroughly deserved to win the competition. As a Community Trust we have a big passion for Women’s & Girl’s football and it’s fantastic to see so many girls getting involved with the beautiful game. We now engage with hundreds of girls throughout the season and it’s pleasing to see football is becoming a front runner in female sport participation. We now look ahead to the next phase of the competition where the girls will be battling it out to be able to walk onto the pitch at Wembley Stadium.”
