Striker Gavin Reilly has moved on loan to League Two Cheltenham Town until January 2020.
Reilly joined Rovers in 2018, and scored in some crucial moments in the last campaign, providing goals in narrow wins against Fleetwood, Southend and Coventry, as he played 24 league games for the Gas last season.
He began pre-season well with Rovers too, scoring a hat-trick off the bench in the first outing of the season against Yate Town.
With the signing of Tyler Smith and Victor Adeboyejo on loan, the Gaffer and Reilly agreed it would be a good opportunity for Reilly to head to another club to gain more first-team football.
Reilly joins a Cheltenham Town side which finished 16th in League Two last season and has largely recruited defensive players over the summer transfer window, meaning Reilly has a big chance to gain regular game time.
Speaking on Reilly, Graham Coughlan said:
"I fully understand his wish to play regularly, at his age, he's come down from Scotland too.
"He wants to play first-team football which we have to be respectful of."
We wish Gavin the best of luck for the coming campaign.
