Rovers face Cheltenham Town tomorrow night in the Carabao Cup 1st round.
The Gas begin their 2019/20 Cup campaign this week with a Carabao Cup tie against Cheltenham Town.
Rovers played out a 0-0 draw in heavy wind against a tough Wycombe Wanderers side on Saturday and will be looking to progress in the cup on Tuesday.
As the first midweek game of the season, it's set to be a brilliant Tuesday evening at the Mem.
Coach's Preview: Assistant Manager Joe Dunne talked to the press on Monday to look forward to his side's first venture into cup competition this season.
Player Preview: Victor Adeboyejo was inches away from scoring his first goal for the club with a left-footed strike glancing the post against Wycombe Wanderers. He reflected on that strike and looked forward to the coming fixtures when he spoke to the press on Monday.
Opposition: In their first game of the season Cheltenham Town lost to recently promoted Leyton Orient, but bounced back well with a 4-1 victory over Scunthorpe United, who were relegated from League One last season. Centre-back Charlie Raglan was on the scoresheet in that game, grabbing his first goal for the side since his move from Oxford United over the summer. Though he won't be playing in the fixture, a familiar face will be part of Cheltenham Town set up for the coming campaign, after Gavin Reilly moved on loan to the side.
Travel and Ticket Information: Online tickets for this fixture will be available until midnight on Monday,12th August for supporters wishing to collect tickets on the day, whilst a 'Print @ Home' option will remain available up until 2 hours before kick-off.

Rovers won 1-0 that day, with John-Joe O'Toole scoring the only goal, a left-footed strike from the edge of the area.
