Community Trust announces BTEC Open Evening dates for 2018/19.
The education team at Bristol Rovers Community Trust will be opening their doors at The Memorial Stadium on Thursday 27th September, to give potential students an insight into the courses and the incredible opportunities that they can offer.
As a registered charity, the Community Trust can offer four exciting post-16 courses which combine academic studies with a sporting experience, where students can represent Bristol Rovers Football Club in competitive fixtures. The Trust provides students with a variety of extra-curricular activities, to further their academic progress and enhance desired life skills.
The courses delivered by the charity aim to improve the motivation, confidence and self-esteem of students on the courses and help to create life changing opportunities as students are supported in improving their employability prospects.
Head of Education Ed Strange said “We can’t wait to meet our future students and welcome them to Bristol Rovers. The Open Evenings give us an opportunity to showcase the work that we do and of course the tremendous work that our current and former students have achieved since they have been with us. We welcome all potential students and their parents to the Memorial Stadium on Thursday 27th September and we know that you will leave feeling inspired and motivated to take your next step in the sports industry.”
