Match Preview: Barnsley v Bristol Rovers

26 October 2018

All the pre-match content heading into Saturday's fixture with Barnsley.

Rovers head into Saturday's game against Barnsley on the back on a midweek victory at the Mem over AFC Wimbledon.

Ed Upson's goal may have been fortunate in nature, but it provided the Gas with a platform in the game, while a teasing cross from Michael Kelly was touched home for an own-goal to secure all three points in the second half.

Rovers now head into a period of four away games on the spin - starting with the long trip to Oakwell on Saturday.

Darrell's View: The Manager spoke to the press on Friday morning before departing with the squad on the trip north. The Gaffer discussed Saturday's opponents at length and pinpointed Tony Craig for praise after a string of impressive performances from the defender.
