Bristol Rovers Community Trust would like to invite fans of the club, and people from the local community, to join them at the Memorial Stadium on Wednesday 14th November for a very special event. In partnership with the Former Players Association, the Community Trust are holding an evening titled ‘Feeling Blue? And White’.
Bristol Rovers Community Trust are committed to supporting the people within its local community and offer opportunities to make a positive impact on their lives. Mental health is a topic that is still rarely spoken about within professional sport, particularly within football. As the number one sport in this country, Bristol Rovers believe it is vitally important that football takes a lead on tackling the taboos that surround mental health.
The event starts at 7pm on Wednesday 14th November at The Memorial Stadium. This is a FREE event, with a suggested donation of £5 which will enter you into a prize draw. There will be a free buffet on offer and the bar will be open to purchase drinks. The fans of the club will also have the opportunity to ask their own questions to the players on the panel. Come and have your share say on this important topic that touches so many of our lives.
We look forward to seeing many of you at The Mem for this event and if you want any further details please email Matt Bennett, the Community Manager, on firstname.lastname@example.org
