Rovers host Northampton at the Mem on Saturday afternoon, in a SkyBet League One clash.
Last weekend Darrell Clarke's men claimed a 1-0 victory away at MK Dons thanks to Ellis Harrison's 13th goal of the season, in one of just three third tier games on as a result of the extreme weather conditions.
Back on home soil and the pitch at the Mem is playable once again, following the postponement of the Wigan Athelticgame late last month due to a frozen pitch.
The Gas have picked up a decent 10 out of a possible 15 points from their last five league games, and have only lost once in their last five outings at BS7.
Defensively Rovers have tightened up in recent weeks, conceding just two goals in three games and keeping a clean sheet at Stadium MK on the weekend.
The Gaffer's view: The boss as usual spoke to the local media at the club's training ground on Thursday afternoon and previewed this Saturday's game whilst also covering a range of other topics.

Opposition: Sat 20th in the league and just a point above the drop zone, Northampton are in a precarious position and in need of points fast if they are to remain in League One beyond this season. The Cobblers haven't played for two weeks, due to last Saturday's cancellations, so should be fresh going into the game. Their most recent fixture was a 0-0 draw at home to Oxford United; their second draw in as many games having earned a very decent point away to Scunthorpe United. Of late Jimmy Flloyd Hasselbaink's men seem to do better on the road, picking up five points from their last three away trips, including a 3-1 victory at AFC Wimbledon, a commendable 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers and that 2-2 draw at Scunthorpe.

Three to Watch: Northampton Town
Last time we met: In what is highlight of the season so far, Rovers hit Northampton for six back in October at the Sixfields Stadium as Billy Bodin, Ellis Harrison (2), Rory Gaffney, Liam Sercombe Dom Telford all netted. That's not the only memorable game we've had against The Cobblers though!
Past Encounters: Northampton Town
Tickets: Fans can still purchase tickets in advance via the club shop by Friday at 5pm or online by midnight Friday. Tickets will still be available on the day but at an increased price.
