The Club is delighted to inform supporters that CEO Martyn Starnes has today commenced his new role with the Club.
Martyn, who has previous experience of similar roles at both Yeovil Town and Plymouth Argyle will undertake a senior management position of the club's backroom staff, based at the Memorial Stadium.
Speaking of Martyn's arrival at the Mem, Club President, Wael Al Qadi said, "We would like to formally welcome Martyn to the Club."
"Martyn has a wide experience of working within the world of football, with his background at both Yeovil and Plymouth and his arrival marks a new exciting chapter for the club. We are looking forward to working closely with Martyn to continue the growth and progression of Bristol Rovers.
"We wish Martyn every success in his role and for the continued success of the football club."
CEO Martyn Starnes added, "I'm delighted to commence my duties here at the Club.
"Bristol Rovers is a football club with a rich history and we are looking to expand on the links already created within the local community.
"Any successful team on the pitch must endeavour to achieve cohesion through teamwork and it's important that we reflect these characteristics across the backroom staff, making sure we are a unified workforce that has the best interests of the club at heart.
"I spoke with the staff at the club this morning and I will be speaking with representatives from a number of the various departments within the club, to assess where we can find room early opportunities for progress, with an underlying commitment to supporting the good work of both the Academy and Community Trust.
"As our fan base will be well aware, preparations are in full flow for the new campaign and we will look to grow the positivity around the club as the new season draws ever closer."
