The inaugural 1883 Club Networking event took place on Thursday - with a successful networking breakfast held at the Memorial Stadium.
There was a unique selection of guests on hand to mark the occasion - with Manager, Darrell Clarke joined by Darren Clark, who shared his inspirational stories of succeeding the business world.
Bristol Rovers' Networking Consultant, Nick Elston spoke about the launch of the series of events - with further networking breakfasts scheduled to take place throughout the season.
"We started this idea as a whole new approach to interacting with the business community based here in Bristol.
"The feedback we received from the people in attendance has been positive and we will look to tweak certain elements heading into the future events.
"The guests enjoyed seeing Manager Darrell Clarke engaging with representatives from local businesses and it helped to cement the ethos of the meeting - highlighting the importance of ties with locally based companies."
The next networking event takes place on the 13th September - with the guest speaker on the occasions being Mark Brimson, who tells his own harrowing tale of how personal grief championed his positive attitude to charity work and beyond.
