Three to Watch: Rotherham United

Rotherham United are the visitors to the Memorial Stadium this Saturday.

Sitting in twelfth place in SkyBet League One, Rotherham United are without a win in six games and head to the Mem on Saturday on the back of defeats against Shrewsbury and Wigan in recent weeks.

Kieffer Moore 

The former Truro striker is the top scorer so far this season in SkyBet League One, with thirteen goals to his name.

On loan at Rotherham from Ipswich, the twenty-five-year-old has formerly played had with spells at both Yeovil Town and Forest Green Rovers.

The striker joined Ipswich in January 2017 and has since made eleven appearances for the Championship side, joining Rotherham on loan in July.

Roofe made the perfect start to his time at Rotherham, scoring a hat-trick on his home debut in a 5-0 victory over Southend.

The striker added nine goals to his tally before the end of September and has continued his scoring form in recent weeks, with three goals in four games, scoring against Oxford, Gillingham and Doncaster.

Lee Frecklington

Frecklington has established himself as a key player in the Rotherham side since joining from Peterborough in January 2013 after an initial successful loan spell with the Club.

The experienced midfielder, who helped Rotherham achieve successive promotions from League Two to the Championship, has three goals so far this season, grabbing a hat-trick in Rotherham's victory over Walsall back in September.

Ever present this season, the thirty-two-year-old has already played over one-thousand minutes this season for Rotherham.

Joe Newell

The twenty-four-year-old midfielder is finding his feet this season and has had to be patient, taking advantage of opportunities from the bench.

The former Peterborough United youngster joined Rotherham in August 2015.

A versatile player that can play across midfield and at full-back, Newell made thirty-five appearances last season in the Championship for the Millers.

In recent weeks, Rotherham Manager Paul Warne has praised Newell's passionate approach to the game, with the midfielder starting in the last four fixtures for Rotherham.

Newell has three goals so far this season, with goals against Southend, AFC Wimbledon and Oxford with Rotherham unbeaten in all games this campaign where Newell has found the net.
