The Club's pie and pastry supplier, Piglet's Pantry, received a top prize at the 2017 Football Business Awards.
The Worthing based food manufacturer Piglet’s Pantry were nominated against tough competition in the category of ‘Best Business serving Football with a turnover of up to £2million’ they were delighted to come away with the top prize.
The Club has received positive feedback from supporters since Piglet's Pantry products were introduced at the Memorial Stadium, as the company incorporates the famous Pirate logo as edible paper toppers on products sold at BS7 as well as using meat and vegetables from sustainable sources around the UK.
The recent award adds to an impressive collection of accolades for the family business, who have now picked up over thirty awards at the British Pie awards, as well as the prize award of the best pie in football.
Owner and Managing Director Joanna Hunter of Piglet's Pantry, said ‘from humble beginnings in our original shop to serving some of the top Premier League Stadia up to 10 thousand pies per match, it has been an impressive journey. The Team have worked tirelessly to provide excellent innovative match day food across both hospitality and the concourses throughout the football league.
