We take a quick look at tonight's opponents Wycombe Wanderers.
Rovers travel to League Two opposition tonight looking to kick off their Checkatrade Trophy group with a win.
Rovers: Darrell Clarke's men will be looking to pick up their first win in the Checkatrade Trophy this season.
Team News: Rovers have a full squad to pick from.
Marcus Stewart's View:
The Chairboys have made a positive start to their SkyBet League Two campaign picking up 7 points from the 15 available so far.
Gareth Ainsworth's side have secured positive wins away from home against Port Vale and Grimsby but are yet to pick up a win at Adams Park in any competition so far
Dangerman - Adebayo Akinfenwa - Striker
The ‘Beast’ (pictured above) signed for the Blues in July 2016 following his release from AFC Wimbledon, where he had slotted home a penalty in their play-off final win at Wembley.
The former Swansea, Gillingham and Northampton star opened his account for his new club in the 1-1 draw with Accrington in August, and went on to add important strikes in the league as well as scoring the winner in the FA Cup first round win at Portsmouth.
Akinfenwa finished the season with an equal career-best 18 goals, scooping the Players’ Player and Supporters’ Player of the Year at the end of his maiden campaign at Adams Park.
This season, Akinfenwa has netted two braces for the Chairboys including Saturday's winner away at Grimsby Town. However, following an exhausting 90 minutes at Grimsby and League Two newcomers Forest Green Rovers at Adams Park this weekend, Akinfenwa may not start the game.
Last Time Out: Rovers suffered a late defeat at Adams Park thanks to Luke O'Nien's 85th-minute goal back in February 2016.
Tickets: Tonight's game is All Ticket for travelling supporters, Gasheads will not be able to purchase tickets on the night.
